Thermal and sound insulation

Thermal and sound insulation products:

  • Textile granular

A granular material is conglomeration of grounded textile, polyurethane foam and additional substances that enable fire protection for a certain time period. It is best used as a filling in walls of a hollow body. This increases a (sound and thermal) insulation capability of prefabricated walls significantly. By in-blowing process all pores and corners are filled up, even though rafters, location and other construction materials are irregular shape.
Textile granular is in-blown insulation which is owing to its characteristics used for thermal and sound insulation of prefabricated partition walls, dry assembly insulation of floors or in attic and mansard insulation.
The use of this insulation is the quickest, cheapest and the only way of sanitation of older, poorly insulated buildings.

Other thermal and sound insulation products for:

  • Soft and hard panels made of textile scrap

For the specific purpose of excellent thermal and sound insulation, we have developed panels made of textile granulat. They are characterised by high sound insulation and are used for the insulation of walls, floor, studios and chambers and noise barrier walls. Panels from textile granulat are distinguished by remarkable mechanical features and practically show no subsidence. Therefore, they can also stand high floor load capacity.

  • Application of anti-condensation coating on metal, polyester and other hard material

In cooperation with the company Trimo from Trebnje we have developed an insolation coating for their Trimoform shingle, which has an anti-condensation, anti-noise and high temperature insulation function.

  • Noise barriers

In cooperation with the company Petrič d.o.o. from Ajdovščina, we have developed anti-noise fencing as highway and railway noise barriers.

The prototype fencing along the Brezovica bypass (Ljubljana) was set up in 2004. An artificial aging test, by which the panels were made 20 years older, showed the mechanical features of Fonaterm panels were left unchanged. Moreover, there were no signs of the influence by rain, sun, salt, snow removal or by birds or parasites; in other words, the fencing (the insulation panel Fonaterm) remained intact.
