Sustainability

Key elements of our policy are the following:

• We recognize all environmental aspects and all impacts our business has on the environment. The impacts are measured and assessed. We have established objectives and targets related to all significant environmental aspects. If necessary, we prepare detailed implementation programs.
• We are committed to comply with applicable legal requirements which relate to the environment. We have established a system of monitoring changes to and novelties in the environmental legislation, and regularly carry out performance assessment of our environmental management system according to applicable laws. Moreover, we comply with other requirements to which we subscribe, along with the requirements of the local community.
• We are committed to a continuous improvement in our system performance. We set up and run projects related to efficient use of energy. In carrying out our activities, we use the best available technology in terms of efficient use of materials.
• Our projects are aimed at developing new insulation products made of recycled materials. Production activities are planned in such a way to minimize environmental impacts throughout the product’s life cycle. The environmental impact of a product is examined at the earliest stage of the product development process.
• We plan and carry out activities related to education and training of employees with respect to environmental protection, and increase the level of environmental awareness.
• Finally, our environmental management system requirements are communicated to all our suppliers, including contractors. Furthermore, we inform our customers, business partners and the interested public of our environmental protection activities.
